Claire Worthington

Although Village Web Company wasn’t incorporated until September 2021, Claire started the business, operating as a sole trader, back in 2014. Due to her strong commitment to fighting digital exclusion, she made the decision to enrol the Village Web Company as a member of the Online Centres Network in 2016, which offers free training to anybody wanting to learn how to use a computer or get online.

Village Web Company CIC uses it’s profits to deliver free to attend activities which help develop digital skills and confidence.

Village Web Company CIC Aims

  2. Increase diversity in tech, by offering work placements and volunteering opportunities for those wishing to start their careers in tech.
